Why Coconut, Rapeseed and Soy Wax?

Natural candles are good for both you and the environment. We’d naturally always recommend that you shift to natural waxes over paraffin wax (it’s bad for you and the environment) and choose a VIPASA luxury candle made of an innovative blend of coconut, rapeseed, and soy wax.

This is why at VIPASA we went for not just one, not two but three natural wax blends, read below;

  1. Mommy dearest insisted to always go natural

    Growing up, my mother always insisted that our family ate food fresh from the nearby farms, practised yoga and relied on the age-old proven science of Ayurveda for health-related remedies. So, when it came to choosing the waxes (after a lot of testing) it made sense to blend the natural waxes to maximise the benefits and hence create our luxury scented candles.

  2. Eco- friendly and biodegradable

    Compared to other traditional waxes, soy wax, rapeseed wax and coconut wax candles are environmentally friendly. Most importantly, this blend is renewable, and biodegradable which means it decomposes completely - I put it in my compost box once, and this was when I dropped the wax on the floor.

  3. No harmful toxins

    The VIPASA fragrant candles blend is all-natural which means, no soot is produced, and hence no harmful toxins are released into the environment. We are here for no inhaling of harmful toxins.

  4. Sublime scent

    The innovative blend of coconut, rapeseed and soy wax ensures that our premium fragrance oils blend homogeneously with the natural wax. We also cure the candles for over two weeks to ensure that the optimal fragrance balance is achieved – i.e, your friends and family will definitely compliment you when they walk into your house.

  5. Vegan and cruelty-free

    No animal products are used in the making of the candles with zero no animal testing.

  6. Low carbon footprint

    Rapeseed wax is grown in abundance in Europe, so considering our candles are made in Ireland, the wax does not have to travel far.

  7. Slow burning and long-lasting

    Rapeseed wax is slow to burn and coconut wax is the slowest to burn compared to the rest of the waxes available in the market. The blend has been created at optimal temperatures to enhance the slow burn characteristics. It took us years to perfect the right percentage at the right temperature.

    Thank you for reading, we are conscious of our footprint and constantly making efforts to reduce our impact on the environment.
